Das generelle Projektziel liegt in der Entwicklung eines sektoralen Qualifizierungsrahmens (SQF) für die Bauindustrie in Europa. Das Projekt dient als Referenz, Wissen, Fähigkeiten und Kompetenzen in der transnationalen Berufsbildung innerhalb der Bauindustrie aufzuzeigen und zu analysieren. Folgende Zielsetzungen sollen im laufenden Projekt umgesetzt werden: Schaffung eines Transfersystems (SQF-MATRIX). Standardisierung und Darstellung unterschiedlicher Qualifizierungs- und Kompetenzgrade mittels eines einheitlichen Matrix-Systems, aufgeteilt in folgende Kategorien: Wissen, Fähigkeiten, Kompetenzen Verbesserung der Kohärenz, Flexibilität, Transparenz und Offenheit unterschiedlicher Berufsbildungssysteme Schaffung und Vereinfachung beruflicher Karrieremöglichkeiten in der Bauindustrie Stärkung des „Lebenslangen Lernens“ und Stärkung der Attraktivität und Akzeptanz bauindustrieller, beruflicher Möglichkeiten.
Die ersten Ergebnisse wurden am 20. Januar 2009 auf einer internationalen SQF-CON Sitzung in den Räumlichkeiten der FIEC in Brüssel präsentiert und ausführlich erklärt.
In einer weiteren und letzten Konferenz am 01. Oktober 2009 wurden die finalen Projektergebnisse präsentiert.

Developing and introducing a “Sectoral Qualifications Framework for the European Construction Industry” – shortly named SQF-CON
Duration: 01.02.2008 – 31.01.2010
Aim:
The project SQF-CON aims at developing a Sectoral Qualifications Framework for the construction industry in Europe (SQF) and making it work in the entire sector.
It will be undertaken by European Social Partners in construction together with organisations representative for experts of vocational education and training (VET) in participating countries.
A document (MATRIX) will be produced as frame of reference, containing philosophy, structure and content of existing EQF as well as specifications of work on construction sites.
It will enable actors in national construction industries and training organisations to relate their national standards, qualifications and certificates to a common framework, in order to improve transparency between national training systems, comparability of VET results by using learning outcome approach and better functioning of the labour market.
To include all European countries and to disseminate SQF to as well as promoting its application and use by all national construction industries and training organizations, two European conferences will be held in the frame of Fédération Industrielle Européenne de la Construction (FIEC), assembling all their membership and other actors and representatives for VET in construction throughout Europe.
